At LACMA, Art + Technology Lab grant recipient Nana Oforiatta-Ayim is launching phase one of her project, Cultural Encyclopaedia, a large-scale documentation and archive effort dedicated to mapping cultural production on the African continent. The second part of the program will feature a short film documenting Oforiatta-Ayim’s use of the kiosk as a model for the traveling museum as well as a collector of culture and history.
