The Aero Theatre is showing a George Kennedy double feature- Cool Hand Luke / The Human Factor

Tennis System are one of the many artists playing Broke LA (formerly Brokechella) which highlights lesser known acts at their music and arts festival in downtown Los Angeles ($20)

Story of the Running Wolf are opening for Battle Tapes at The Hi Hat in Highland Park

The Situation Room in Eagle Rock is having their second annual Femmes’ Video Art Festival, showing contemporary video art this weekend and next. The screening is free, outdoors, and there will be snacks.

Puro Instinct is playing along with Mode, and Cellars at El Cid

The Long Beach Zine Festival is a free event with exhibitions and talks happening at the Museum of Latin American Art with Avi Buffalo performing

Obsessed with Making a Murderer? Steven Avery’s lawyers Dean Strang and Jerry Buting will be at The Theatre at the Ace Hotel to discuss the case, a possible sequel to the series, and more ($60)
