Kitten- Money
Money is quite different from Kitten’s usual New Wave-y pop style, but it’s interesting to see other ways the band might go in the future. The 80’s influence can certainly be seen in singer Chloe Chaidez’s styling, which is a little reminiscent of Madonna’s Desperately Seeking Susan days.
Kitten is playing a free acoustic set at Amoeba Hollywood on Tuesday, 6/24.
Aimee Mann- Labrador
This song is off Aimee Mann’s album Charmer, released in 2012. The video is a shot for shot version of the video for Voices Carry, her ‘Til Tuedsay hit, introduced by Jon Hamm (playing the director). Keep an eye out for Ted Leo as well, who plays a member of her band. They are currently touring together as The Both and playing at the El Rey on Saturday.

This video of Radars to the Sky is from the Knock and Rock project where bands go door to door trying to get strangers to let them play in their house. In the video above, the band finds a house with a family of musicians and the result is really sweet.
Radars to the Sky are playing El Cid on March 22.
