Every month I listen to the majority of bands/singers/musicians/artists who are playing in Los Angeles and select some for a monthly playlist. It includes a variety of genres and usually newer work by the artist.

This song is from Gal Pal’s upcoming album This and Other Gestures, which will be released on June 2nd.
The band is playing in Los Angeles at Permanent Records Roadhouse on Saturday 5/13/23 with Laveda and Powder Pink & Sweet
Model/Actriz- Crossing Guard
This song is from Model/Actriz’s 2023 debut album Dogsbody.
The band are playing in Los Angeles at Genghis Cohen on Wednesday (3/22/23) and Zebulon on Thursday (3/23/23)
The Smile- Free in the Knowledge
The Smile is the latest project from Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood with longtime producer Nigel Goodrich. Tom Skinner, formerly of Sons of Kemet, joins them as drummer. This song is from their 2022 debut album, A Light for Attracting Attention.
The band is playing two nights in Los Angeles (12/21 and 12/22/22) at The Shrine.
De Lux- Morning Misses Me
This song is from De Lux’s upcoming album, Do You Need A Release?, coming out 9/23/22.
The band are playing an album release show at Lodge Room in Los Angeles on Thursday, 9/22, with James The Fifth.
DJ Shadow feat. Run The Jewels- Nobody Speak
DJ Shadow is playing a sold out show tonight, 9/29/16, at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles with Noer the Boy. His new album, The Mountain Will Fall, featuring the track above, was released in June of this year. Watch for cameos in the video of DJ Shadow (in a wig) and the members of Run The Jewels.
