Wolf Alice- How Can I Make It Okay
One of my favorite songs of 2021, off Wolf Alice’s album Blue Weekend.
While 2021 certainly had improvements over 2020, the pandemic continued, and many songs in this year’s selections reflect aspects of that. Depression, loneliness, alienation, frustration and escape come up often. But some songs included also celebrate life and being hopeful about the future. There are, of course, songs about love and relationships too. Although a few songs on the list are very popular, many of the songs chosen are a little less mainstream.
Once again looking forward to a new year, new music, and hopefully a return to normal for 2022!
