We Rise is a week long event (running until 5/27) promoting belonging and positive mental health with a lot of free programming including talks and film screenings, an art gallery, and more. Today Indigenous based arts & culture group Meztli Projects is hosting a free silkscreening lab, and later Creativity as The Way Through, an artist led discussion on processing trauma and challenges through art, will take place on the main stage. If the weather is good grab some wine and food and head to LACMA where every Friday there are free outdoor jazz performances. This week- Otmaro Ruiz will be performing.
