Eli Detweiler, Jr., a livestock and auto auctioneer, will perform a high-speed auctioneer chant and lead an informal workshop in auctioneer number-calling at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA . Detweiler is featured in Doug Aitken’s 1998 installation these restless minds which is part of the MOCA exhibition Doug Aitken: Electric Earth. (MOCA entrance and this program are free)

Cosmonauts are having an album release party at the Echoplex with Cellars and Tomorrows Tulips also playing

As part of Doll Parts, the continuing film series at The Broad that complements the Cindy Sherman exhibit, artist Lynn Hershman Leeson’s electronic video diary Binge will be shown along with the work of performance artist Narcissister, who will also perform live ($12 includes night access to the museum)

Following the screening, Kenneth Anger and Brian Butler will perform as the Technicolor Skull. The evening will conclude with a Q&A.
