This year The James Museum partnered with SHINE Mural Festival and Chenlin Cai to create the mural seen above, The Path We Came. It was inspired by the museum’s current exhibition From Far East to West: The Chinese American Frontier.

This work by Barry Graves, located in a parking structure in Gainesville, Florida, and part of a larger group of murals organized by Urban Revitalization Project.
Sadly, Graves passed away last year in March 2020. His legacy lives on though, through BG Art Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It’s stated mission is to “support addiction recovery with funding for in-patient treatment and by promoting awareness and offering resources for healing”.
