Paintings by Carrie Jadus; Sculpture by Candace Knapp

Currently on view at Soft Water Gallery in St. Pete are Carrie Jadus’s Rorschach-inspired paintings for Open to Interpretation. The paintings (as per the title) encourage the viewer to come up with their ideas about what they mean.

From the gallery about the exhibition-

The series began as a direct result of the uncertainty surrounding the early period of the Covid pandemic. It has since become a much broader reflection on the human condition and the ways in which our individual points of view deeply influence the way in which we see the world. Though Jadus has made very specific artistic choices in the creation of the paintings in this series, the works are ultimately left to the viewer to experience and interpret on their own terms.

This exhibition is on view until 11/4/23.
