Guns N’ Roses- Welcome to The Jungle

This song is from Guns N’ Roses 1987 debut album Appetite for Destruction. The band has recently reunited and will be playing Coachella this weekend (4/15/16) and next. Axl Rose’s serpentine moves, however, will not be present for the show. He broke a bone in his foot and will be borrowing Dave Grohl’s throne from his injury for the performances.

Interpol- NYC

NYC is a single from Interpol’s debut album Turn on the Bright Lights, which was released in 2002. This video was created and directed by multimedia artist Doug Aitken.

Interpol are playing on the Friday (4/10) of Coachella this year. For the full lineup and set times for the first weekend- https://www.coachella.com/settimes/

Pet Shop Boys- Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money)

The Pet Shop Boys, like a few other acts who were big in the 1980’s (Pixies, The Cult, The Replacements), are playing Coachella this year. This song from was on their debut album Please from 1986. This satirical song was meant to be a commentary on the consumerism of the 80’s but feels just as appropriate today.
