Tonight is the closing reception for Awakening at Chris White Gallery in Wilmington, Delaware, curated by Seth Pala of Alone Time. The exhibition included 27 artists and 141 pieces of art.

The group show Paper Cut opens at Subliminal Projects and the cut paper related works look pretty incredible on the website (RSVP required)

Farrah Karapetian and Zoe Crosher are among the artists who will be discussing photography for week one of Remembering Forward: Conversations on Photography at LAXART’s new space in Hollywood- for the full list and to RSVP

It should be good weather for the Rose Bowl Flea Market this Sunday

PaleyFest Los Angeles runs through 3/15 and gives fans a chance to see the casts of popular tv shows discuss them live at the Paley Center. This weekend’s lineup includes Homeland (3/6), A Salute to Comedy Central (3/7), The Good Wife (3/7), Girls (3/8) and Scandal (3/8).

If you are in Las Vegas tonight and are looking for something to do outside of the main strip or are heading to Downtown Las Vegas to check out the Fremont Street Experience, or the hipster bar scene, consider stopping by the First Friday art event on your way. It runs tonight from 5-11pm and is a fun way to check out the galleries in the Arts District. There are activities for kids and adults, music and, of course, food trucks. They also had chalk boards set up to draw on and a painting area (shown above), if you are feeling creative. It’s also a chance to check out the local street art.
